How much do you know about the lighting safety cables you are using for your theater or arena? Do you know which method of attachment is best to secure the lights in preventing an accident? Our shop got curious about this so we decided to make our own and test the math behind it to get you an answer.

[VIDEO] Loading the Flatbed

Loading Steel I-Beams on to a flatbed truck is not an easy task. Luckily our shop bridge crane does the heavy lifting. Here's a quick snippet for one of the dozen beams to loaded.

Macy's Flag Raising

While the tradition of having a flag hang in Macy's (previously Marshall Fields building) atrium began in 1916, Chicago Flyhouse has assisted in making the flag happen since 2003. Hanging over seven stories high, the flag is an amazing site to behold. See the video below to get a quick glimpse of how we made it happen.

Performer Flying Discussed
