Powered by a custom ZipLift Control System, Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace’s new Chicago Flyhouse-designed stage lift is fast, virtually silent, and can be easily dismantled and stored when not in use.
A variable speed system, the elevator is capable of carrying 1,200 lbs at speeds of up to 120 feet per minute, and can be operated by a local control or connected to our i-Rig Automation System.
Raising objects from the orchestra pit up to the stage level, the stage lift is primarily designed to introduce performers and scenery onto the stage during performances.
Drury Lane’s custom stage lift with Flyhouse’s I-RIG Automation System control made its debut in their acclaimed 2009 production of Cabaret, and featured heavily in their 2010 spring production of Ragtime.
