CLIENT: Hilton Hotels

PROJECT LOCATION: Hilton Rosemont/Chicago O’Hare, Rosemont IL

PROJECT TEAM: Edelman Public Relations, Ruth Brand Experience (Event Coordinator), Means Of Production (Project Manager)

PROJECT SCOPE: The Chicago Flyhouse was chartered to provide rigging effects for an oversized “bow” at the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the Grand Opening of Hilton’s refurbished Rosemont, Illinois location.

Fabricated in ‘Hilton blue’ and installed over the main lobby doors, the 10′ tall bow was rigged to fall open simultaneously with the actual ribbon-cutting performed by Hilton VIP’s.

Working with Project Managers, Means of Production, Flyhouse staff calculated and fabricated the rigging mechanics required to execute the final design, providing construction guidance for the crew building the bow, and overseeing all aspects of the bow’s on-site installation.
