For St. Norbert College, Flyhouse did a full inspection of their 50s-era fine arts building which houses two performance spaces.
Working within the University’s timeline and budget, Flyhouse recommended a three-phase renovation, first addressing major safety issues, and moving forward to update the theater further, bringing it up to standards and allowing the students to work in a safe and fully functional environment.
Phase one consisted of repair of the main auditoriums underrated arbors, labelling of the entire rigging system, and general tune-up and maintenance of all rigging components. Phase two included replacement of all wire rope and Phase 3 improved usability, including replacement of the entire locking rail.
With Flyhouse working around the University’s existing production schedule, the entire project was slated for completion within one year.
