A new outdoor performance space at Polk Bros. Park - known as the city's unofficial front yard - just outside of Chicago's Navy Pier required a stage to withstand the changing midwest weather to provide what Chicago is known for - entertainment. Flyhouse built a grid structure 50 feet wide by 36 feet deep with 28 feet tall towers, allowing the stage grid to have a trim height of 22 feet above the performance stage. The structure also needed to handle 90-mph wind gusts at three-second bursts.
