Our Services
With a team of experts, Flyhouse provides custom rigging solutions for every market—from theatres to cruise ships and some of the largest arenas in America. We work to establish objectives and milestones early on to allow our clients to receive quality products and services that exceed expectations. We collaborate with architecture firms, general contractors, and manufacturers resulting in an extensive portfolio across many industries.
DESIGN
From installations that blend into ordinary scenery to discreet hanging points used to showcase art without stealing the show, we give clients quality products to exceed their highest expectations.
Our mechanical designs comply with specification information and conform to the materials requirements of International Standards Organization (ISO), Underwriter’s Laboratories (UL), Electrical Testing Laboratory (ETL), American Welding Society (AWS) and/or American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) as needed or applicable.
Our automation design team is proficient with multiple computer programming platforms, allowing Flyhouse to provide turn-key controls design as part of any solution.
Most of all, we’re proud of our out of the box design services. We know how to solve a problem with creativity. We collaborate with architects, keeping in mind all the intricacies of building design. We create systems that are plausible, affordable and efficient throughout the construction process, providing long term operational success for the end user.
Quite simply, we take impossible problems and create extraordinary solutions.
FABRICATE
Flyhouse is committed to producing the highest quality products, in-house, by following inspection protocol and testing throughout fabrication. Our design team works alongside our project managers, ensuring quality control every step of the way.
An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), Flyhouse manufactures equipment for clients, allowing us to control fabrication schedule and allow projects to install on time.
Flyhouse maintains strong relationships with vendors all over the world. This has avoided our company from relying on a single source supplier and helped us to identify constraints early on and helps avoid delays throughout the project.
Located in an industrial corridor within the Chicago city limits, our facility has full fabrication capabilities including a 5-axis waterjet, 55-ton press brake, carbon fiber printer, TIG and MIG welders, lathe, ironworker, cold saws, and a high bay to allow for equipment testing and factory acceptance tests to be conducted in-house.
INSTALL
We love to help our clients with their permanent or seasonal installations. Our work has been seen at museums, retail spaces, arenas, hospitals, and universities all over the country! Our team focuses on innovative solutions to your rigging problems.
Our team members are ETCP Certified, OSHA Certified, CM Trained, Scaffold Safety Trained, and Truss Safety Trained. And our practical work experience includes compliance with various industry standards including, but not limited to: ASME, ASCE, AISC, ANSI, AWS, ASTM, ISO, DIN, AGMA, NFPA, NEMA, and OSHA. The Flyhouse crew's diverse background in rigging provides our team with in-depth knowledge of many types of automation including ETC, JR Clancy, Waagner Biro’s, and TAIT systems.
