We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Metal Welder/Fabricator to join the Flyhouse team. This hands-on role involves welding, cutting, and assembling custom metal components from draftings and technical drawings. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication skills, a solid understanding of MIG and TIG welding, and the ability to work independently on complex builds.

Job responsibilities include
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals (primarily steel)
- Cut, drill, and punch metal components to spec
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and draftings
- Set up and build welding jigs and fixtures for repeatable fabrication
- Operate basic machining tools (saws, drill press, grinders, etc.)
- Ensure all welds meet strength and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work closely with the design and production team to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Skilled in steel cutting, drilling, and metal finishing
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical draftings
- Experience with machining and lathe operations is a strong plus
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
