Our Safer Venue™ program helps venues know whether or not their rigging system is safe and secure. But finding a time to do inspections when the space is quiet can sometimes be a challenge. For education-related venues, summer break can be the perfect opportunity. Flyhouse provides initial rigging inspections and analysis throughout the year, and can schedule training and maintenance performed by our trained and qualified staff while students are off campus for summer.
This year, our crews have inspected 31 unique spaces with 14 more in the queue. We have already completed repairs based on inspections in 17 venues, and 15 more have been scheduled. Nearly all Safer Venue™ inspections highlight repairs that need to be addressed, and our crews are able to fix these flagged issues when it’s most convenient—and safest—for each venue.
We have done inspection work in 8 states so far this year, including Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Mississippi, Colorado, Florida, and New York. We are also back on cruise lines, after a pandemic pause, inspecting performer flying hoists/motorization, both nationally and internationally.
