What an especially busy season for Flyhouse Training. Throughout the year, we have heard from old clients and new, looking for live, in-person training—a post-Covid boom!
Our lead trainer Ed has trained private clients at four regional theaters, one arena, two media production studios, two audio-visual/event vendors, four cruise ships, and an amusement park. These trainings include users of Flyhouse installations at Studebaker Theater, Perelman Performing Arts Center, Harper College, Columbia College (twice), Northwestern University, and the University of Michigan's Duderstadt Center.
“Flyhouse training is remarkably rewarding. I love the opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends. More than that, I have been able to help people understand their work and build confidence in their own skill and knowledge. That is why I do this in the first place! I have also learned new things myself, and had a lot of fun doing it. I genuinely like all the work I do at Flyhouse, but my passion for training is what gets me up in the morning, and convinces me to fly back and forth across the country so many times.” - Ed

Ed also trained a public class for the Entertainment Services and Technology Association (Flyhouse is a proud ESTA member). Ed and the other ETCP Recognized trainers were collectively given ESTA’s Volunteer of the Year Award for both 2022 and 2023 in recognition of their ongoing dedication and the high quality of these events.
Flyhouse is incredibly proud of Ed, and honored to support his work on events like this in an effort to give back to the industry at large. That’s how we fly!
