Start Spreading the News: Perelman PAC

Posted by Flyhouse on Aug 23, 2021 8:14:23 AM

After such an unprecidented year, The Chicago Flyhouse Inc. team is grateful to be working—on familiar projects with longtime clients, and challenging new assignments too. And we're excited to share one of the projects that has kept our team so busy in recent months!

The Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC) is currently under construction on the World Trade Center campus in Lower Manhattan, New York. This new 129,000 square foot venue will feature a wide range of dance, music, opera, and theater productions in multiple, flexible performance and public spaces. The PAC is scheduled to open in 2023.

Flyhouse officially joined the PAC project in January 2021 as stage engineering contractor, responsible for the overhead systems (rigging) scope of work. Flyhouse will remain in our Chicago shop over the next several months, working on fabrication and testing. Installation and commissioning is scheduled to begin onsite in New York this fall, and is expected to last 6-8 months.
