Flyhouse At USITT 2026

The Chicago Flyhouse, Inc. will bring its EASE® motion controller to the USITT Annual Conference in Long Beach, CA, March 18-21, 2026.  We can be found in Booth #633, just a few aisles to the left of the main entrance, after entering the hall.

We haven’t been to USITT in over ten years.  We are excited to return, this time with our EASE® motion controller to share!

EASE® is a full-function, feature-rich motion controller that allows cue-enabled operation of automated elements, including overhead rigged equipment, chain hoists, stage deck automation, and variable acoustics in venues with single or multiple spaces. The controller can move motorized elements to programmed positions with time or velocity cues, and includes jog features for easy access to intuitive motion. The controller’s innovative “drag-and-drop” design is an industry first for motion controllers.

Since its release, venues like the Perelman Performing Arts Center in New York City and others have selected EASE® for their installations.

Also launched in recent years are a full line of motorized hoists including the ZipBatten motorized line set, the Ziplift X600 heavy duty point hoist, a redesigned fire curtain hoist, and the LuxSonitus acoustic roller banner, in addition to all forms of other rigging systems.

The Flyhouse team will be onsite to answer questions, with plenty of hands-on opportunities to take a test drive of the EASE® motion controller in the booth.  We will also feature equipment in the Technical Production/Automation Lab.
