Start Spreading the News: Perelman PAC
The Chicago Flyhouse Inc. team is always grateful to work on familiar projects with longtime clients, and challenging new assignments too. We were particularly excited to be part of this project that kept our team busy during an unprecidented pandemic.
The Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC) is on the World Trade Center campus in Lower Manhattan, New York. This new 129,000 square foot venue will feature a wide range of dance, music, opera, and theater productions in multiple, flexible performance and public spaces. The PAC is scheduled to open in 2023.
Flyhouse officially joined the PAC project in January 2021 as stage engineering contractor, responsible for the overhead systems (rigging) scope of work. Flyhouse remained in our Chicago shop during the initial months, working on fabrication and testing. Installation and commissioning began onsite in New York that fall, and expected to last 6-8 months.
