At Flyhouse, the products we recommend come from our professional field experience. And when no out-of-the-box solution is available, our team of in-house engineers develops its own.
Every custom Flyhouse product we create brings about equally custom and challenging testing protocols. Recently, a custom challenge passed through our shop involving our new zero-fleet point hoist, which features a 12” drum, 3/8” 7x19 galvanized aircraft cable, and a 1750# working load limit. We needed to test all eight units, not only for 125% of maximum capacity but also variation of synchronization between the units.
Fortunately, our new Flyhouse shop houses heavy-duty bridge cranes, including one with a capacity up to 15-tons, allowing for all the necessary mechanical and controls testing.
By the end of this month, the zero-fleet hoists will be integrated and controlled by our Flyhouse EASE® automation and ready to ship to sites for installation. That’s how we fly!
